About Us
After holidaying for years in Cornwall and spending every summer exploring the beauty of the Duchy, Marc and Polly knew where their future lay.

In 2016 they spent a happy holiday near Watergate Bay, and knew this was it. They were going to make the 'big move'. Why wait any longer? As soon as they got home they put their house on the market and had an offer within weeks - no going back now!
After several weeks looking they stumbled across Cardinham and instantly fell in love with the peace and stunning forest scenery. 'It looks just like Canada!' they said. They knew this was home.
Living so rurally has had its own adventures - they are now the proud owners of their very own waders and know how their own water system works. Cornwall is a temperate rainforest (so it rains A LOT) but the quality (and quantity) of the wildlife is truly amazing. Wagtails, Kingfishers, Buzzards - all a daily occurrance. Foxes, stoats, rabbits, squirrels galore. And bringing up their children here is what they always wanted by giving them a childhood like theirs was. Treehouse built over the stream, mountain biking from their doorstep, looking at crystal clear stars, happy days.
The main house (Milltown Farm) is just over the road from The Goat House, and your hosts would be more than happy to help with anything you need. You will discover a selection of little treats to welcome you, and Marc & Polly hope you have a very happy holiday in Cornwall, just like they always did.
